N: How is crime here in a rural area like this where you live? I mean your jail is a joke in size etc. (for background our jail is the oldest in the state from the 1700s and is a drunk tank basically)
D: It is pretty average...
N: So you have more than just drunk driving, speeding tickets, poaching and such?
D: Oh yea, we have robbery, assults and even 3 murders in the past 10 years!
N: So what about domestic violence?
D: Oh none of that, our women are strong and can take it!
N: BAHHHAHAHHAHAHAHHA
Me: ---CHOKING----WHaaaaa
D: Oh yea, they dont complain but fight back. That was one of the murders actually, wife shot 'em
Me: Leaves the room
This is why holidays freak/stress me out when I got home.
